I came for the parenting and stayed for the family...

Sometimes when it feels like you've been doing something for a really long time, you call it a journey. Then when you tell people about your journey, you say journey waaaaaay too many times. In this vlog, I monologue about RDI and why I made my way towards the parenting angle on supporting children and families...and dont forget to count how many times I say it. You know. 

It feels like the right time, right place, right fit for me. In an instagram post, I talk about the novelty of parenting, what I've learned, what I love and having the grace to lean into what I can't control. It's a wild ride that we are equally enthralled and amazed by as much as we are petrified and just want to jump ship from! What started as a perfect fit for my lived experience as a mom in a neurodiverse family, became a toolbox for all areas of my professional workplace, the school district, and in my private practice with families in the community.

This is the just the beginning of many cringey vlogs and blogs that are aimed at building a better connecton with the families I meet and have the priviledge of spending time with. I hope I always bring a little sparkle into the lives of others, if even for a peek into my personal stories, mishaps, musings and rants.
